Beldam make their long awaited return to Horror Pain Gore Death Productions with the massive new album "Pasung"! This album marks Beldam’s second release via Horror Pain Gore Death, and their first with new vocalist/lyricist Randall Guidry. The Doom/Sludge titans have recently relocated to Seattle, continuing their vision to play skull-crushing, soul-wrenching, paint-peeling Sludge with blackened touches. With influences ranging from Sleep, EyeHateGod, Graves At Sea, The Melvins and Black Sabbath, Beldam combines a massive wall of guitars, thickened bass tones, bone-rattling drums and harsh vocals featuring lyrics building on the themes of death and despair. “Pasung” clocks in at 50 minutes of pure, unadulterated American Sludge. For fans of Bongzilla, Brainoil, Coffins, Conan, Crowbar, Dopethrone, Grief, High On Fire, Indian, Meth Drinker, Neurosis, Noothgrush, Om, Orange Goblin, Order Of The Owl, Pelican, Primitive Man, Pungent Stench, Rwake, Soilent Green, Sourvein, Sunn O))), Thou, Ufomammut, Weedeater and Zoroaster

Who doesn't know about Rogga and his phenomenal output of swedeath? It has to be acknowledged that he doesn't put out any bad songs and is capable to hold up the tension. Not only that, je eben manages to increase the intensity of his works. mourner
the stars are ghastly tumors of a purulent sky. the galaxy is bloated skin exhales nebulose miasms of hunger... and we're on the menu.

Excellent top notch Blackened Thrash is what I hear and I can't get enough. These guys do the best parts of Goatwhore better than Goatwhore. Also brings to mind The Crown in their hey day circa Hell Is Here, I think mostly the vocals and sheer energy in the riffs. One final comparison would be to think of the thrashy tremolo riffing, if that's a thing, that was on Ravencult's Morbid Blood and it will give you a good idea of what we have here. Sightless_Wisdom
