Human Infection were formed in Roanoke, Virginia in 2009 and play classic Death Metal with a modern twist. This revamped edition of "Gravesight" features a brand new remaster courtesy of guitarist Jeremiah Tuck, giving the album a fuller and more powerful sound. Human Infection also have commissioned legendary Spanish artist Juanjo Castellano (Coffins, Ribspreader, Rottrevore) for breath-taking new artwork, as well as all four tracks from the band's 2016 promo are included as bonus material. Recollections of the Insane

This album rips, chugs and sizzles. There's many bands that play this style generally, but these guys stand out to me as being among the better ones that do it. Nice technical wizardry and powerful pummeling, but also with some hooks that cling to you, as well as some cool varied bits and interludes here and there that prevent it from being just 'regular' deathrash. A couple records in and I'm sold.

Decent debut from a promising band. For the most part a gnarly hybrid of Autopsy and Entombed, with a lot of good ideas and some fun atmospheric ambient sections. The last track sticks around far too long, but that's the only downer really. Well worth checking out for a good blast of new-old-school. Looking forward to the next release for sure!
